The Shift · A cohort for women leaders

Is it Me?

Spoiler: It isn't

A six-month coaching cohort for women leaders from director to VP. Small room. Real practice. The pattern named, then changed.

WHAT THE SHIFT IS

Leadership Coaching for Women

Six months. A small cohort of women already running real work. Bi-weekly cohort sessions, with weekly office hours on the off-weeks for live coaching on the situations you're actually in. Pre-work sets the baseline.

You walk out with a clearer relationship to your own authority, language that sounds like you, and the ability to stay present when the room gets complicated.

It is not a workshop. It is not a confidence course. It is long-form leadership practice, done with method and company.

THE PATTERN

You bring the strategy. The room talks over it.

You name the risk. Someone else carries it to the executive table.

You give the same recommendation twice. The second time, in a different voice, it lands as brilliant.

Too sensitive. Not strategic enough. Needs more executive presence.

That's the coded feedback. You can recite it back. You may have started repeating it to yourself. You take it home. You sit with it. And the question starts.

Is it me?

No, you were never the problem.

WHAT THE LABELS MISS

I've sat in this room.

The labels people put on you, too sensitive, too quiet, too much, not strategic enough, needs more executive presence,  are not the truth of who you are.

They may simply be the reaction of a room that cannot yet understand the kind of leader you are becoming.

Here is what I see

What gets called too sensitive is your radar.

What gets called too quiet is your discernment.

What gets called not strategic enough is you seeing further than the room is set up to see.

What gets called not assertive enough is you choosing your moment, because you know moments matter.

I've worn most of those labels myself.

Over time, I realized they were not flaws. They were the room’s response to a capability it did not yet know how to recognize.

Not something wrong with me. A sign that the room was still catching up.

It's your superpower. It just hasn't been called that in your performance review.

WHO THIS IS FOR

This is for you if:

  • You lead at the director to VP level, or you are the one everyone treats as senior without the title.

  • You have heard the coded feedback and you are done chasing a moving target.

  • You want a small group of women to practice with, week after week

  • You are often the only woman, or the only one in your function, in the room.

  • You want to lead like yourself without paying for it in your career.

This is not for you if:

  • You want a quick confidence hack or a one-day seminar.

  • You are looking for generic women-in-leadership content with no edge.

  • You are not ready to practice between sessions.
